Loes progresses from internship to paid work

Loes shows what developing with pleasure can yield.

In early 2025, internship supervisor Astrid from VSO asked the Triviant whether Fijnder had an internship position for a spontaneous and eager-to-learn young lady. Loes found that position at Koen's workshop.

There she helped with packing, labeling, assembling, and other tasks in the department.

Loes immediately stood out due to her enthusiasm, positive attitude, and dedication. She works hard, learns quickly, and always has a kind word for others.

New steps in the company restaurant

After her first internship, Loes wanted to develop further. Therefore, she continued her internship in the company restaurant with Astrid and Simone.

There, too, she took on all kinds of tasks. She made sandwiches, ladled soup, helped with chopping and slicing, and worked in the dishwashing area. She even did the less enjoyable chores with pleasure.

Loes brought energy and cheerfulness. She especially enjoyed chatting with colleagues and visitors while serving soup.

Development outside Fijnder

In the restaurant, Loes visibly grew. This also gave rise to a new desire: to do an internship outside the familiar environment of Fijnder.

She got that opportunity at Slagerij de Hoeve in Eibergen.

She helps with:

  • Vacuum packing products
  • Filling containers with salads and soup
  • Neatly wrapping grilled snacks

A nice next step

At the end of the school year, Loes faced a difficult but beautiful choice. Would she continue working at FijnderOr did she choose a job at the Hoeve?

After careful consideration, Loes opted for paid employment of 24 hours per week at Slagerij de Hoeve.

She now works there with great pleasure.

We are proud of Loes's development. She shows where Fijnder stands for: growing, discovering, and working on a future that suits you.

Developing pays off. Well done, Loes!
