Did you know that the municipalities of Berkelland, Oost Gelre, and Winterswijk will once again offer a collective health insurance policy in 2025? This insurance, called GarantVerzorgd by Menzis, is intended for people with lower incomes. The municipality contributes a portion of your health insurance.

What is collective health insurance?

Who is this collective health insurance for?

Om use te can not be purchased to make van de collective health insurance, apply er income standards. If your monthly income is not higher than the amounts in the tables below, je eligible for the collective health insurance.

Income standards

To be eligible for collective health insurance in the municipalities of Berkelland and Winterswijk, your income must not exceed 130% of the social assistance level. For the municipality of Oost Gelre, this is 110%.

What does assistance level mean?

Welfare level is the amount of money the government gives To people who don't have enough income to live on. It's a kind of financial aid from the government for people who are struggling.

You can register until December 31, 2024 via www.gezondverzekerd.nl. Please note: you may only switch if you have no payment arrears with your current insurer.
