If you are eligible for the Participation Scheme for adults, you can spend up to €150 per person per year on activities or products related to sports or culture. Think of a gym membership, new sportswear, or a membership to a music club.
Who can apply for the scheme?
The program is available to residents of the municipality of Winterswijk. Your eligibility for the Participation Program depends on your income and assets. If you are 18 or older, your income is less than or equal to 130% of the social assistance standard, and you have no assets exceeding the asset limit, you are likely eligible. You can compare your income and assets with the amounts listed under "Income" and "Assets."

- Do you not receive benefits through Fijnder? Then you apply for the scheme via the "Application for special assistance" form on the forms pageApplications can be submitted from January 1, 2026, to November 30, 2026.
