If you are eligible for the Participation Scheme for adults, you can spend up to €150 per person per year on activities or products related to sports or culture. Think of a gym membership, new sportswear, or a membership to a music club.
Who can apply for the scheme?
The program is available to residents of the municipality of Winterswijk. Your eligibility for the Participation Program depends on your income and assets. If you are 18 or older, your income is less than or equal to 130% of the social assistance standard, and you have no assets exceeding the asset limit, you are likely eligible. You can compare your income and assets with the amounts listed under "Income" and "Assets."

- Do you not receive benefits through Fijnder? Then you apply for the scheme via the form "Application form for the Participation Scheme for adults in Winterswijk" on the forms pageApplications can be submitted from January 1, 2026, to November 30, 2026.

How do I use the participation scheme?
To use the credit, please follow these steps:
(Automatic) budget
- Go to participate.fine.nl
- Click 'Start' and enter your email address.
- You will receive an email to log in to the website, then click on 'Log in'.
- You will be redirected to the Regulations page. Select a scheme from your municipality that has been assigned to you and click "Apply."
- Log in with DigiD and your scheme(s) will be activated immediately.
If you are entitled to multiple schemes and activate one scheme, the other awarded schemes will also be activated immediately. - You can use your plan(s) immediately. You will receive a separate voucher for each plan. You can use this voucher:
a. View in the me-forus app.
b. Email to yourself.
c. Print.

How to pay
Have your voucher scanned at the store or organization. Payment will be processed immediately. You don't need to pay anything upfront or submit a claim later.
