The opening was performed by Alderman Elvira Schepers, Chair of the Executive Board of Fijnder, together with her fellow aldermen Ria Leliveld of the municipality of Berkelland and Ellen Dusseldorp of the municipality of Oost Gelre, both members of the executive board of Fijnder.
A more pleasant working environment, more room to grow
In the renovated work-learning space, more attention is paid to calm, clarity, and a logical organization of work. This ensures a pleasant working environment for the employees who work here daily.
At the same time, the work-study placement offers more room to learn and develop. Fijnder In doing so, it focuses specifically on the development of skills and competencies that align with the demands of employers. This supports clients in their path to employment.
Familiar and renewed
For the employees, much remains the same. They still work at the same location, with their own colleagues and supervisors. The changes lie primarily in the layout and the way the workplace is organized.
The work-study placement thus fulfills a dual role. It provides a sustainable workplace for current employees and a development pathway for new target groups, such as young people, non-native speakers, and residents facing barriers to employment. In this development pathway, they work step-by-step on employee skills, language, and vocational skills that align with the demands of the regular labor market.
The transition to the renovated workplace has been carefully prepared and guided.
Everyone participates
During the opening, the importance of the work-study placement was the central focus. Elvira Schepers:
"Bee Fijnder Everyone is of value. People learn skills here that prepare them for the labor market. This work-study placement offers room to grow and to make a difference. We can be proud of that.
Continuing to build together
The revamped work-study placement is part of the broader development of Fijnder as a social development company, as previously announced in the plan for a future-proof work-learning facility. Together with municipalities and partners in the region, it works Fijnder to opportunities for residents to participate in society.
Fijnder implements the Participation Act for the municipalities of Berkelland, Oost Gelre, and Winterswijk.
