“The PSO certificate is more than just recognition for us,” says Theo Beijer, director of FijnderIt serves as evidence of our commitment to inspiring others and setting a positive example in creating opportunities. "The current tight labor market offers opportunities," says Beijer. It's a favorable time to utilize the potential of people with disabilities and actively involve them in the labor market.
Support for clients and employers
We don't want to keep our target group clients within our workplace, but rather offer them as many opportunities as possible outside of our organization, with regular employers. "Job coaching and reviewing HR policies are essential," notes Beijer. By supporting employers in integrating people from our target group, we can reduce the employment gap. "Focus on your clients' needs," Beijer advises. It's not about production within our organization, but about finding the best opportunities and possibilities for the people you serve.
What is PSO?
Within the framework of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), a growing number of organizations and governments are prioritizing creating (more) employment opportunities for people distanced from the labor market. This aspect of CSR is called social entrepreneurship.
The Social Entrepreneurship Performance Ladder (PSO) is the measuring instrument and quality mark of TNO that makes the degree of social entrepreneurship objectively measurable and visible.
