About the Client Council
What does the Client Council do?
The Client Council oversees the rights of clients and represents their general interests. The Client Council advises on municipal policies regarding the implementation of the Participation Act, the IOAW, the IOAZ, and related regulations. Municipalities usually request advice, but the Client Council can also provide its own (unsolicited) advice.
The Client Council does not deal with individual complaints and objections from clients or other matters concerning a specific resident.
Meetings
In principle, the Client Council meets every second Thursday of the month from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Fijnder, Battery 12, 7141 JL Groenlo. Meetings are open to the public and are announced in local weekly newspapers and Achterhoek Nieuws. Minutes of previous meetings this year can be found in the agenda announcement. the 'Agenda' page.
Who are the members of the Client Council?
Members of the Client Council are clients of Fijnder and representatives of interest groups such as the Seniors' Council, the Seniors' Association and FNV.
